This project was a renovation of an existing landscape. We used organic curves and informal plant groupings to provide a buffer between the house and the lawn. One of the existing retaining walls was extended to provide a level landing area off the patio.

The homeowners were concerned with the safety involved in maintaining this small side yard. They also wanted to provide something aesthetically pleasing for their neighbors to look at. We solved both of these problems with a segmental retaining wall and were also able to enlarge the back patio area to make room for some raised vegetable planters.

The homeowners were looking for better access from the driveway and an update of their existing landscape. Both goals were achieved by reworking the front walk and providing additional planting areas along the new paver sidewalks.
